Speech Reading Classes:

Pam Wood, long time Adult Loss of Hearing Association Board Member, and audiologist, will be conducting a speech reading class at Adult Loss of Hearing Association. Call the office for more information. This is a great way to improve your communication skills if you are hard of hearing. Spouses are also encouraged to attend.

ALOHA Members pay $50.00, non-Member $75.00 and Spouse $25.00 for the class.

Beginning Sign Language Classes:

Class meets once a week for 8 weeks. Call the office for the next enrollment date. This is a non-credit course, with basic signs taught in a friendly and easy to understand manner.

Members pay $50.00, and non-members pay $75.00. The text book is extra, to be purchased by the student. Optional membership is $25 for individual, or $30 family membership.

How to install an induction loop in your home:

ALOHA member Lou Touchette who is also the “Let’s Loop Tucson” focal, teaches a class titled “Home Loop Installation 101.”  Whenever enough individuals have signed up for the class, Loretta will schedule one and notify those who have expressed an interest in attending. In his classes, Lou teaches you everything you need to know about loop installations from A to Z. Whether you want to go into business as an installer or just be able to do your own installation, this free one-day 2-hour class is for you.
