Save the date! Our Third Tuesday (October 18th) Guest Speaker will be Heidi Lervik, MA, CRC from the Arizona Technology Access Program (AzTAP).
People with disabilities, their family members and service providers often struggle to know what type of assistive technology will help them in their everyday lives. Many people purchase expensive equipment which is often unused or abandoned. The Arizona Technology Access program (AzTAP) aims to address these issues by providing resources, demonstrations and complimentary loaner equipment.
Join us at ALOHA on Tuesday, October 18th, and learn how AzTAP can help you or someone you care about. This presentation will be primarily focused on people with hearing loss; however, an overview of AzTAP services will be presented and Heidi will be available to answer your questions after the presentation.
Can’t make it Tuesday, October 18th at 1:00 pm? No problem. Heidi will be presenting at the 7:00 pm meeting that day too! We hope to see you there.

It is with a heavy heart that we share this news. Loretta, our Office Coordinator, passed away October 3rd after a long battle with medical complications. She has been a part of our ALOHA family for over 30 years and gave her heart and soul to all who have walked through our doors. Those who knew her personally understand it is impossible to honor her in such a short message, but she wanted to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. (That is our Loretta – always so prompt.) Soon we will be sharing with you our memories of this amazing lady and celebrate her dedication to improving the lives of people with hearing loss.
Arrangements are being made by her family and will be available shortly.
We have missed Loretta’s smile over the past few months so share one for her today – smiles are contagious.
