Summer is ending and our Third Tuesday guest speakers are ready to go!

Join us at ALOHA on Tuesday, September 20th and learn how CART Captioning can make life more accessible for hard of hearing people.

Kimberly Ann August will be sharing her presentation, “CART Captioning: The Who, What, Where, When and …. Who Pays!?”

Has your hearing loss kept you from:

• Signing up for a class?
• Jury Service?
• Attending a fundraiser for your favorite charity?
• Serving on a board or as a volunteer/docent?
• Sharing your thoughts at a City Council meeting?
• Attending a UA lecture?

If so, this presentation will answer your questions and address your concerns. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn about CART and how it can make a difference in your life.

Kimberly August, firm owner/president of Kimberly Ann August CART & Captioning, has been providing CART and captioning services in Southern Arizona and across the United States and Canada for 20 years. She also serves on the ALOHA Board, on the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ACDHH) Hard of Hearing Task Force, and has been on the HLAA Convention CART team since 1997. She is proud to count herself an ally and advocate for people with hearing loss.
