We Do a Lot For People With Hearing loss!

Let’s Loop Arizona

ALOHA is renewing its initiative, LOOP ARIZONA, to increase public awareness of looping, to increase hearing accessibility in public venues in Tucson and surrounding communities.  The campaign will focus on demonstrating to public and private venues, hearing professionals and consumers the advantages of the Looped Environment.  Loop Arizona is a collaborative effort supported by

local chapters of non-profit and for-profit organizations, including:

Sertoma International and the Midtown Sertoma Club, the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), Pima Council on Aging (PCOA), the University of Arizona Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Elder Alliance and OTOjOY, an Arizona-based company that specializes in assistive listening technology.  In order to launch the project this summer, ALOHA is recruiting volunteers to 1) verify and catalog existing looped venues in Tucson and  2) meet with local audiologists and hearing professionals to enlist their participation.  If you are interested in receiving training to further the Loop Arizona project in either regard, please contact the ALOHA office at 520-795-9987 or
